On the Morse index of higher dimensional free boundary minimal catenoids

RESUMO: We derive an asymptotic formula for the Morse index of rotationally symmetric free boundary minimal catenoids embedded in the unit ball in Euclidean space as the dimension of the ambient space tends to infinity. This is joint work with A. Stern, H. Tran and D. Zhou.
